ollie was built for a family member who communicates differently. Creating this tool has been a personal commitment to make communication more modern, more accessible, and more affordable—not just for one person, but for many.

Erik Miller is a Design Strategist, Product Management Leader, and Engineer. He draws on his experience academically and professionally to serve others through education, career navigation support, entrepreneurship, and skill development across a wide array of fields.

Professionally, he has worked in design, digital marketing, product management, and software engineering for some of the world's most beloved brands—including Fjord, Accenture, Porsche Digital, Lululemon, and numerous Chicago-area startups. That work includes leading iOS development on the Lululemon app (featured by Apple, over 3M users per month), co-creating Motif at Fjord (featured at WWDC 2018, later acquired by Mimeo), and founding DesignCar as a Porsche Digital spinout.

Recently, his work includes Vercept, an AI company focused on computer vision and intelligent automation, and WonderRush, an AI company focused on improving the speed and accuracy of AI systems.

Academically, he has earned an MBA from Robert Morris University (Illinois), a Master's in Information Systems from Northwestern University, and a Doctorate in Education in Learning and Organizational Change from Baylor University—always with the aim of increasing his value as a teammate and as someone who can help others reach their potential.

Erik built ollie under Underdog Innovation Inc. to bring that same focus on quality, accessibility, and real-world impact to AAC.
